Silverstone Location
Silverstone is located right in the middle of the UK in the county of Northamptonshire, about 90 minutes north of London and about 60 minutes south of Birmingham. The village and circuit have great transport links thanks to its central location and access by road is very straight forward. Silverstone is just off the A43 dual carriageway which is connected to either the M40 or M1 motorways.
The nearest train station is either Milton Keynes or Banbury, both of which have great connections to other destinations around the country. There are taxis at both stations which will take you to your destination.
Travelling by air
The nearest International airport is Luton which is only a short train journey from Milton Keynes. Other airports which you may want to consider are Gatwick or Heathrow, again they have connections to Banbury or Milton Keynes.
The circuit has a small airfield, primarily used by helicopters on busy race weekends. For more information on travelling to the circuit by helicopter please contact a charter company.
Other Information
If you are using Satellite Navigation you can simply enter the postcode for the circuit which is NN12 8TN. Using the postcode will bring you to the entrance of the circuit, some sat navs will even show the roads inside the main gate.
Silverstone is well sign posted from the motorway and you will be able to identify the signposts thanks to the chequered flag which appears on them.
