We have researched and compiled a list of local amenities for Silverstone. Because of the small size and location of the village you may need to travel a few miles for some amenities.
Public Houses
There is only one pub in the area, The White Horse. Serving traditional pub food and with a friendly atmosphere is popular amongst visitors during busy race weekends.
Shopping
There aren’t any large shops in Silverstone so you will need to travel to a nearby town if you need to purchase anything. Towcester is the nearest town with a large selection of shops and services. If you are prepared to travel further afield then Banbury, Oxford, Brackley and Northampton have all the big name shops you would expect.
Restaurants
The nearest restaurants are in Towcester or inside hotels. They can get booked up days in advance during busy race weekends so book your table early to avoid disappointment.
Accommodation
There are over 20 hotels near Silverstone and a large selection of bed and breakfast. Hotels in the area are especially busy during race weekends so always book your room in advance. If you prefer camping there are many campsites near the race circuit which attract fellow guests who enjoy the friendly atmosphere.
Health and Leisure
Most leisure clubs in the area are located at hotels although you can find some in Northampton and surrounding towns. Whittlebury Hall Hotel and Spa is the most popular and well known in the area and offers a great level of relaxation and enjoyment.
Post Office
The nearest Post Office is located in the High Street.
Other Services
The nearest hospital is in Northampton, if you require the emergency services you will need to dial 999 as normal.
