Just over 100 days until the British Grand Prix
It feels like yesterday that we were all at Silverstone for the 2009 British Grand Prix but already it’s time to start thinking about this years fast approaching race! With just over 100 days until the drivers do battle on the fantastic Silverstone Circuit there is still time to sort your tickets and accommodation out!
Silverstone Tickets
The official Silverstone website has recently stated that tickets for the race on Sunday (11th July 2010) have sold out. This is only partly true however, there are still some tickets available if you’re prepared to pay a lot for them! We have seen websites advertise them at nearly double the original price which although it very expensive, it does still mean there are some available. To find tickets for the British Grand Prix at Silverstone simply go to Google and search for ’2010 Silverstone Tickets’. As always, when booking and paying for your tickets online please make sure it’s a genuine retailer and always use a credit card for extra protection.
Silverstone Accommodation
Accommodation for this years race is getting quite hard to find now. Hotels near Silverstone are mostly booked up although you can still find some new nice hotels as long as you’re willing to travel about 15 miles or so. To search for hotels please use the following button:
Another popular accommodation option is Bed and Breakfast although you will need to search around for one because they are nearly fully booked. Because Silverstone is nestled in the Northamptonshire countryside it’s surrounded by lots of small villages that do have a lot of B&B’s.
The last option and by far the most popular with die-hard race fans is camping! During the summer months the fields around Silverstone get packed with tents and caravans where you will find many happy race goers doing battle with the unpredictable weather! Alternatively you can stay in a nice, air-conditioned hotel where you won’t get wet if it rains!
