Saracens Head Hotel
With over 400 years of history attached to the building, the Saracens Head Hotel is now a modern and restored 3 star establishment. Located in the town of Towcester the hotel is in a prime location if visiting either Towcester Racecourse of the Silverstone circuit.
The Saracens Head hotel has 21 rooms each of which have the facilities you would expect from a modern hotel. There is a telephone in each room, Wi-Fi Internet access, TV, radio and a hairdryer. The hotel has services such as a laundry/valet, wake up calls and mountain bike hire.
Food is served all day in the lounge and bar area and consists of a traditional menu but there is always something a bit different on the menu. The Lounge bar is perfect to relax in after a long day and has a great range of beverages and snacks.
Room prices start from around £40 and can climb in price during the busier months of the year. Because the Saracens Head is a hotel close to Silverstone (approximately 3.6 miles away) it can become busy on race weekends. Trying to get a room for the British Grand Prix weekend is very difficult and can only be achieved if booking months in advance. This 3 star hotel has a car park and thanks to its location is popular amongst visitors to the Silverstone race circuit.
