Car Parking
Most visitors to Silverstone will be arriving by car therefore when staying at a hotel in the area they will need somewhere to park. Nearly all hotels around Silverstone have car parks with a large amount of parking spaces although they will vary in size.
Hotels in the nearby towns (Towcester for example) can have limited spaces so if you are travelling in groups you may want to opt for a larger hotel in the area with a bigger car park. A lot of visitors to Silverstone travel in expensive, classic or sports cars and prefer somewhere safe and secure. The best thing to do is choose one of the larger hotels that have CCTV and large spaces giving sufficient space around the car.
Car parking is free at most hotels near Silverstone although it may be hard to find a space during a busy race weekend as hotels can be fully booked.
Motorcycle Parking
Silverstone is the location for the MotoGP and Superbikes in 2010 and therefore a large number of motorcyclists will be staying in the area. Thankfully the majority of hotels in the area have hard standing for motorbikes meaning you can be safe in the knowledge that your bike will stay on its stand throughout the night! Hotels in the area are very welcoming of motorcyclists.
