Budget Accommodation
Are you visiting Silverstone on a budget? Are you looking for accommodation that is close to the circuit but is only a fraction of the cost of a normal hotel? There are a few options available for you but it will depend on how much you are prepared to spend.
For under £50 you can stay in a bed and breakfast or a 3 star hotel providing there isn’t a big event on at the circuit (during race weekends prices are inflated). Most 3 star hotels in the area are only a short distance from Silverstone and therefore it’s easily commutable. The hotels in the area all have the facilities you expect of a modern establishment such as Internet access, ample car parking and on site restaurants.
If your budget is even smaller you will need to exclusively look at the bed and breakfast option. There are lots of lovely B&B’s in and around Silverstone that are in some ways better than a hotel. If you like the friendly atmosphere with a nice breakfast than this option is for you!
If you decide you don’t want to stay in a hotel or bed and breakfast the last option available is camping! Camping at Silverstone is by far the cheapest option but sometimes can be the most fun. There are a large number of campsites around the Silverstone circuit and all have a great atmosphere during race weekends. Facilities at some campsites include electricity, showers and social areas.
