Aston Martin Owners Club Day
Silverstone will be welcoming the Aston Martin Owners Club (AMOC) on Saturday 22nd May 2010 for their round. The classic British machines will be taking part in a series of races held on the classic track and it’s an event not to be missed! With cars up to 80 years old hurtling around the track it’s a spectacle to watch and enjoy.
If you’re wanting to visit Silverstone for the event then ticket prices start from £8 per person. As always prices will increase slightly if you want to enter the paddock or have a grandstand seat.
A lot of people visiting this event stay the night before (especially if they are driving a classic car to the event)! Hotels are extremely popular and in high demand for this event so please book early. We recommend the following hotels for this event:
Whittlebury Hall Hotel and Spa – Less than a mile from the circuit and with a large, secure car park this hotel is a 4 star establishment where other visitors to the event stay every year.
Hellidon Lakes Golf and Spa Hotel – A little further away than the previous hotel but with a similar range of facilities and a safe car park
Hilton Northampton Hotel – A typical Hilton hotel that needs no introduction. Very reasonably priced and again has good car parking.

Other Accommodation options include Bed and Breakfast of which there are lots near the circuit or alternatively you could camp at one of the many campsites in the area. However, we don’t normally advise camping during May because of the unpredictable weather.
